If you live in Kansas, you should be getting your photographic needs taken care of by Jen Logan. She’s a smashing photographer specializing in kids, senior girls, babies, and her famous Mini Sessions!
The Logan clan was making their way to lovely Snowmass, CO for a little family vacation and some hot air balloon festivities… “Why not call up that dang Mrs. Penney and score some family photos whilst we are in the neighborhood?!” Or something like that went down.
We settled on a lurvly campsite in Wolcott and crossed our fingers that the torrential downpours from the previous twelve days would clean up their act and allow us to shoot proper goodness. The rain stopped and the sun peeked out once or twice and we got to do our thang! I got to meet her darling hubby and their three super kids for the first time. But thanks to the internets and all the glory of the Instagram community, I felt like I already knew this brood. I was really looking forward to meeting baby Jonah. The faces Jen captures him making are completely surreal. The Colorados weren’t playing nice with his wittle body, but his wunny nose and itchy witchy eyes just made me want to cuddle him more. He really is a sweet doll. Anywho! Here are a few of my favorites from our time together… I am still kicking myself for not having her do MY family pictures. I succumb to my dumb.
